My main tips would be to find your voice as far as how you want to write, always focus on what your customers and prospects will find interesting, and find a rhythm to write regularly. Most business blogs fail because the day to day gets in the way of the goal of creating content. One of the ways that we have worked on that is to focus on themes for multiple articles as well as to tie them to other content that we are already producing, such as our Lunch + Learns (www.synotac.com/lunch).
